The Human-Bird Interactions research project is focused on understanding the relationships between people and birds and motivating people to care more about the environment. Through mixed methods research involving techniques from the social and natural sciences, our team is identifying both public and private greenspaces that provide critical bird habitat, providing insight on why birds are valued and determining how those associations can be translated into environmental stewardship.
